Tile

This is a beautiful fall tile that that Karen made for me. It is with one of the wall decor items from Stampin' Up and the leaves were cut with the Big Shot. I love it Karen! Now I need to make myself a Christmas one.

Card Group

Two weeks till I get married! I can hardly believe it. It has gone by so fast! Hopfully all of you are having a great summer. Looking into the fall I am beginning to plan some classes and other events.
Some of you will have received the e-mail about the card group I will be doing but for those of you who didn't I will explain how it works. The group of 6-7 people will get together once a month, each person brings $15.00. Five dollars goes to me for supplies of 3 cards that will be made during the evening. The other $10.00 goes into a pool. A draw is made and whoever wins it gets the amount of money ($60 - $70) to spend of supplies from Stampin' Up for themselves. Once your name is drawn it is taken out until each person has had a chance to win.
We will be getting together the first Thursday of the month at my house at 7:00 PM for September, October and November. I haven't gotten all the dates for the new year but I will try to keep it as close to the first or second Thursday of the month as my schedule allows.
I think it will be a lot of fun getting together with a regular group once a month and making some new friendships. I will try to teach a new stamp tecknique each time.
Please click on my profile and use the e-mail link to e-mail me if you are interested or have any questions.
I will keep you posted on other upcoming classes.

Thank You Card

I had fun making this thank you card. I am hoping to use it for someone special for helping out with wedding stuff. The idea for the layout is from Mojo week 90. I am stuck on the Mojo layouts right now. They are just so easy! The paper I used is from the To the Nines Specialty designer series paper pack with Sahara Sand, Sage Shadow, Always Artichoke and Chocolate chip colors. The flower is from the Embrace Life stamp set and has a half pearl from the Pritties kit in the middle.

Recipe Book

Sarah did some beautiful pages for her separators in her recipe book! I had a fun afternoon of working on my recipe book yesterday. I wasn't quite as creative as Sarah though. There is a picture of my cover page for my binder. I still have some work to do on my inside pages.

MOJO91

I was so excited to do this weeks MOJO! I thought about it for two days at work before I had time to actually make it. I used the To Have & To Hold stamp set with the Simply Scrappin Love Stories kit which uses Pink Pirouett, Certainly Celery, and Close to Cocoa color combination.

Okay, so June 15th didn't seem to work so well for most of you so I will change the date of the recipe book class to June 24th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please let me know if you wish to attend.

Our Wedding Invites

Dave and my wedding invitations! Mostly all sent off. I have a few more to hand out. I had fun making them although it did get tiresome near the end. Luckly Dave helped. I didn't end up adding the glitter to all the vales. By the time we got to that point we figured they were fine without it.

Monday Mojo

Already done my fathers day card? I'm not usually that far ahead. Once again I used a Monday Mojo layout. I love their ideas! It makes it so easy to come up with a card and I love how they often used patterned paper.

Mojo

Here is a card I made for Mother's Day. I used a Level 3 Hostess stamp set that I got for free. The layout was one from Mojo Monday. The cardstock is pretty in pink I believe... if I remember right.

Recipe Book Class

Hey all you crafty, stamper people. I'm hoping to have a class to make some recipe books. Here are some pictures of the one I made Sarah. I'm hoping to do something similar to this. The binder works great because any recipes printed off the computer are the right size to fit in.
The class fee will be $15. I'm planning it for June 24th from 1:00 to 4:00 and have 5 people interested. I have room for 6. Please let me know if you would like to attend. Thanks.

Karen's Cards

Here are a couple cards Karen made with the Rustic Rooster and Love You Much stamp sets. She used the Candy Lane patterned paper pack on both. Thanks for your awesome ideas Karen!

Road Trip 2006 Scrapbook

Here our some pics of a scrapbook I've been working on FOREVER. I've filled up one whole album and I'm onto my second one. I went with my friend Rachel down the west coast of the States and back up through Arizona, Vegus, The Grand Canyon and Arches National Park.
